White tea is lightly fermented. The preliminary process is: fresh leaves →sun withering→drying. It is classified as Baihao Yinzhen,Baimudan and Shoumei based on the tenderness of the buds. The white tea cools and detoxifies the body. It is mostly sold in Hong Kong,Macao,Malaysia, Singapore and other southeastern Asian countries.

The middle-brewing method is used for white tea.After pouring water, the tea will float on the surface at first and the buds will slowly straighten and settle at the bottom. Glass allows one to enjoy the dance of the tea leaves while porcelain cups will make it more fragrant.
