What is the Chinese Yellow Tea

Yellow tea is a Chinese specialty.Yellow tea was very popular in the Tang Dynasty.Andient yelowtea were of two kinds: one made yellow during processing and one from the yellow leaves.

The tea made yellow by processing is light fermented.Both the liquid and leaves are yellow. The production process is:fresh leaves→fixation→covering for yelow→drying.  Yelow tea does not require any twisting after fixaton. Some green tea show yelow liquid or leaves due to improper process or storage.

They are deterorated green tea. Yellow tea is classified into Huangya (yelow bud) tea ,Huangxiao tea and Huangda tea acoording to the tenderness of the fresh leaves.
