What are the Classifications of Chinese Porcelain Tea Sets?
Porcelain is one of the greatest inventions of ancient China. In the late East Han Dynasty, the Chinese mastered the porcelain burning technique and ancient China was named the "Porcelain Country."The porcelain is fired in kilns at temperatures above 1200°C. The porcelain tea set has varied types, designs and colors.
The porcelain tea set can be divided into the white porcelain, celadon,blue-and-white porcelain, painted porcelain and color-glazed porcelain.

The technique combining painting and porcelain firing first started in the Tang and Song dynasties and became popular in the Ming and Cing dynasties. There are blue-and-white, Doucai (contrasting color), Tiancai enamel and other color patterns; different symbols denote different meanings.
