Origin of Tea Set

The origin of the tea set cannot be separated from the discovery and  utilization of tea.In different periods,the tea set played different roles.life. There was no special tea set when tea was used as food or medicine.It was separated from the other ware when tea became a drink in the daily life.The tea set originated from wine ware or cookware .

In the western Jin Dynasty,Zuo Si's poem Beloved Daughters had such such sentences “eager to have a cup of tea,blow and heat Ding(cooking vessel)quickly,Ding could have been the earliest tea utensil.

With more cultural relics unearthed in recent years,the achaeologists believe the emergence of the tea set latest by time of the Han Dynasty.
