Chinese Famous Tea-Huangshan Maofeng
Orchid-shaped Huangshan Maofeng was originally produced in Taohua Peak, Ciyun Peak,Yungu Temple,Song'gu Temple and Ziguang Pavilion of Huangshan area, Anhui Province. Today,Xiuning,Qimen and Jixi are also produers. lt is a type of baked fixed green tea. The golden Huangshan Maofeng is sparrow-tongued in appearance with white fuzz. lt tastes fresh and sweet. Traditionally,the baking is over charcoal fire. In modern processing,Maofeng is mostly dried in drying machines.
Huangshan Maofeng has ivory-and golden-colored leaves.Transparent glass without patterns is good to enjoy the dance of leaves. Middle-brewing method is used. During brewing, the leaves float on the surface at first and then start sinking or is suspended in the glass after absorbing water. The extended buds are pleasing to both the eyes and the mind.
